Adding Linkedin Sections


This Social Media tutorial covered a new Linkedin Sections a new feature for your personal profile. This new featured called allows you to showcase a wider variety of accomplishments on your LinkedIn profile.

Adding Linkedin Sections can be a very useful tool for current students who may not have any industry experience yet. This is also a great way to show class projects you’ve worked on that may be in line with your future career goals.

Considering recruiters and HR directors are constantly trolling Linkedin to acquire new talent, a well optimized page with relevant sections included could make all the difference in whether they reach out to you, or one of the other thousands undergrads or recent graduates looking for a job.

Though I can’t promise adding these sections will help you land your dream job, I do know that if you’ve worked hard and have something to show for it, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t include these projects or achievements on your Linkedin Profile.
